This gathering is being graciously hosted by Mission Valley Church of the Nazarene in the “Fireside Room” at 7pm. This meeting is intended to provide us all some time to consider the issues stated above as well as process questions raised by La Posada which will be held the Saturday before at Border Field State Park. [...] In a few hours, several of us are headed to the La Posada down at the border. It’s a really kid friendly event, so the kids and I are going along. Brooke is in New York for school this weekend. I’ve been really sick and I’m pretty knocked out by this cold. But I think this is an important event to be at with my kids. I want then to grow up realizing that Kingdom citizens come from all different backgrounds… I want them to grow up knowing that human dignity always comes before economics… That the kingdom of God blows through all political, nation state boundaries… That our baptism trumps our citizenship.
